One of the best thing which you can ever have is cricket a humorous sport which will never end. Started in England but is dominating in India. Hockey is said to be the national game of India but people worship cricket. Sachin Tendulkar is known because of cricket, we can also call him the god of the cricket. Actually it was Sachin Tendulkar who made the cricket more popular but who can forget Kapil Dev who won us the first world cup in 1983 on the British soil. In India cricket is loved more than anything else. People enjoy, celebrate, cry for this game, emotional attachment makes cricket more and more loved. In India 3 out of 2 youngsters want to be cricketer, infact they stop focusing on studies and just practice cricket if they don’t get chance by the age of 19 even then they don’t loose hopes.

Also in cricket anyone can be a star on any day it’s just he should be a part of management, perfect example will be Nathan Lyon of Australia he used to make pitches and now is a Frontline spinner of Australia. Modern day cricketers are very aggressive and their technique is also different. Earlier the players used to play with proper techniques but now the players have become unorthodox perfect example is Steven Smith the way he bat’s is totally different and in Indian cricket it’s none other than Rishabh Pant.

Still their are many players who play with proper skill and technique like Virat Kohli, Shai Hope, Kane Williamson, Faf Du Plesis and the list goes on and on. These players are compared with legendary players like Sunil Gavaskar, Ricky Ponting, Andy Flower, Brian Lara etc. In modern day T-20 cricket is given more importance than one day cricket and Test cricket. Modern day cricketers like Rishabh Pant, Jason Roy, Aaron Finch have a mindset of only playing a 20-20 format rather than playing Test cricket or one day cricket that’s why they get chocked in mainstream cricket.

Modern day cricket has more demand because it’s totally entertaining and crowd enjoys entertainment cricket is becoming a product and because of leagues like IPL, Big Bash league players are auctioned and sold in the team. As we all know world’s costliest cricket league IPL can be called as a perfect entertainment because it has highs and lows aggression between players who can forget the Pollard and Starc controversy but let me tell you this is nothing the biggest issue of IPL is match fixing many cricketers have ruined their careers even teams were banned for sometime.

Because of IPL cricket fandom is increasing a lot.

According to me modern day cricket is creating more and more controversies. It doesn’t means that teams are not playing cricket but somewhere cricket has lost it’s credibility in the modern world.
New BCCI president ‘Saurav Ganguly’ also a ex cricketer wanted to promote test cricket in India so he came with a concept of day- night test match and match was played with pink ball in Kolkata after Sachin’s retirement this was the first time when more than 20,000 crowd was present in the test match.
Also to promote test cricket in modern day The International Cricket Council (ICC) organized a test championship for every match teams get 40 points. This is the best move to promote test cricket in the world.
