The U-19 World cup 2020 has been taken off in South Africa. 16 teams are participating in the tournament. Priyam Garg will lead team India. 1) Priyam Garg

The captain of the team, playing his first-class matches from Uttar Pradesh. Priyam is quite an exciting youngster, he also made into the IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad in this year’s league. He started his world cup innings by scoring 56 runs against Sri Lanka.
Priyam has scored runs at Nos. 3 and 4 let’s see if he can lead team India to lift the U-19 World cup.
2) Yashasvi Jaiswal

From selling Paani- Puris to getting into the U-19 Indian team his journey has been very tough till here. Yashasvi Jaiswal is one of the youngest players to score 200 in first-class cricket. This year Rajasthan Royals picked him for 2.4 crores in this year’s auction. In the first match against Sri Lanka, he scored 59 runs in the beginning match of the world cup. Everyone has an eye on this super talented youngster.

3) Dhruv Jurel

Dhruv is also from Uttar Pradesh. A promising wicketkeeper and middle-order batsman. Capable of hitting big sixes. Dhruv had a good run of scores leading up to the World Cup, having made 101 in the U-19 Quadrangular Series final against South Africa. Dhruv’s batting will be a key element that will help India to clinch the title.
4) Ravi Bishnoi

A promising leg spinner also a part of Punjab in the IPL franchise. Ravi is expected to be one of the important spinners in the playing 11. Ravi had been among the wickets in the U-19 bilateral and quadrangular series in South Africa. Let’s see how he dominates in the U 19 world cup.
5) Atharva Ankolekar

Another spinner in the bag with Bishnoi. Atharva a talented left-arm orthodox bowler has taken 5-28 in the U-19 Asia Cup against Bangladesh. He was out of form for some time but he came back strong in the South African pitches. His specialty is he can bowl by pitching it properly on the seam, so there’s a lot of chance that he’ll give his best with the team.
