Today’s mainstream media covers cricket but only men’s cricket and women’s cricket (women’s cricket is covered very rarely) The specially-abled cricketers are not given any attention. In 2019 August Indian disabled team won the disabled T-20 world cup which was held in England. Indian team played in the memory of late ‘Ajit Wadekar’ the name of team India was ‘Wadekar Warriors’ led by ‘Vikrant Keni’.
I personally interviewed many disabled cricketers. Everyone had their life story but that life story which touched was of Kashmir’s ‘Wasim Iqbal’ and Karnataka’s ‘Jithendra Nagaraju’ First I’ll talk about Wasim and then cover Jithendra’s story.

Wasim Iqbal’ 26 comes from Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir he’s one of the rarest Kashmiri to play in the Indian team. Wasim’s parents used to do farming his family had a small land. Wasim has also done Electrical Engineering. Wasim has a stiff knee in his right leg.
While he was practicing Parvez Rasool was impressed by his game and he advised Wasim to play disability cricket and then he started playing and when selection round was going on he got selected for the Indian disable team
When I asked Wasim about how’s he feeling to be part of Indian Cricket he said ‘getting selected in the Indian team and that too when you’re from Kashmir it’s very difficult but thanks to Almighty Allah his blessings are with me along with my family they supported me to play cricket’
My brother and My uncle trained me as a player also I would like to add one thing ‘Parvez Rasool’ also cheered me up to play cricket confidentially his contribution to my career was very important and today I’m very happy to be in the team’

Now let’s talk about ‘Jithendra Nagaraju’ Karnataka’s ‘Jithendra Nagaraju’ was from a rural area. The 24-year youngster has faced a cobra bite on his right hand when he was 1 Year 2 months old. His grandfather was into ayurvedic medicine he applied that and the poison was controlled but his whole right hand was affected few days after he was taken to the hospital and there he had a 50:50 chance of survival but the doctors managed and after that, he got disabled with his right hand. His father was a labor they didn’t have enough to eat, Jithendra said, ‘I was lucky to get admission in Christ University Bangalore, I scored 85% in 12th std and they offered me a scholarship and I studied here even I got selected in the College cricket team I used to hit sixes with tennis ball later I played with the leather ball and coach also supported me’
After that he got a job in ANZ bank I.e Australia New Zealand Bank he was a payment officer in the bank after few months he got into HP IT company his work there was in the back-office department he used to do the invoice collecting work there. He quit his job after 4 months and played cricket.
He said ‘At that time my parents were worried about my job, but somehow I managed the things and with the blessings of my parents I got selected in the team
I’m happy now because after a lot of struggle I got selected and hard work always brings you to the stepping stone to success’.
So this was the struggling story of these 2 players. I hope I covered the information which many of you might be reading for the first time. I hope you like the article, will be back with another article to stay tuned.

Irfan Pathan announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on 4th January 2020. Pathan’s retirement was not a surprise. Most of the players start their career in age 27-28 but he was dropped at that time now he is 35 and will be known as a former cricketer.
If we speak about him, he was an exceptional all-rounder in the Indian team. Who can forget his test hat-trick against Pakistan? Recently Star Sports asked about his best memories Pathan said, ‘I never thought of taking test hattrick and that too on the first 3 balls that was the most special feeling which I had’.
In this article, I’m covering his top 10 facts.
1) Irfan Pathan is the only cricketer who opened the batting and bowling in the same match in all 3 main formats of the game.

2) Fastest Indian to take 100 wickets in ODI, he took his 100th wicket against Pakistan in 2006.

3) Irfan Pathan is the only player who took the hattrick in the first over of the test match cricket against Pakistan. This is the video link which will remind you of his hat-trick.

4) He is also the second player to bowl the most number of maiden overs in IPL 1st is Praveen Kumar.

5) Irfan has the best bowling figures in the U 19 youth ODI, he took 9 wickets with conceding 16 runs against Bangladesh and the record is still unbroken.

6) Also in 2005 took 4 wicket haul in T20 history he was playing for Middlesex.
7) One of the players who didn’t take retirement and was still called as an expert in the Pre-match show.

9) Irfan Pathan was that level of bowler that at one time was compared with India’s legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev and Pakistan’s Wasim Akram.

10) Irfan Pathan has scouted many young talents from Jammu and Kashmir, Baroda and some parts of Gujarat even Hardik Pandya was his founding.

These were some facts. This is a link to a video made by crictracker. It’s an interview about post retirement do have a look.
Every day is not the same, and every moment is also not the same. Ups and Downs are the most important part of life because you learn something every moment. This year the cricketing world was really uneven. In this article, I’ll talk about the ups and downs which happened in cricket this year.
Let’s start from IPL the most disappointing season for RCB i.e for Virat and his boys. They tried their best to stay in the tournament in this year’s edition of Vivo IPL but because of some mistakes, they lost this season. So after this year’s IPL auction, their team looks balanced and a strong contender to reach in the top 4. Chennai Super Kings lost the final by 1 run which was also very disappointing for them the turning point of the game was MSD’s run out in the match. Mumbai Indians created a record of winning the IPL season for the 4th consecutive time under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.

MSD’s runout

Mumbai Indians
The ICC World Cup 2019 was really Unbalanced, let me explain how worst this world cup was. First of all, rain ruined the most number of matches and the worst rule by ICC that if the match ties even after super over the winner will be decided by the boundaries hit by team, the team with most number of boundaries will win the match and by this way, New Zealand lost the final even by giving their 200 %. Personally, I really feel bad for the New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, but we need to accept that life is not the same every day.

England captain Eoin Morgan with the world cup trophy.

Kane Williamson
For the Indian team, 2019 was quite balanced as they started this year by defeating Australia in the test series but in the world cup, they lost in the semi-final against New Zealand again here Dhoni’s run-out changed the match. After the world cup team, India started the journey by defeating the Windies and now are leading the point table in ICC WORLD TEST CHAMPIONSHIP.

This year many youngsters got the chance to play for India Shivam Dube, Deepak Chahar, Rahul Chahar, Rishabh Pant and the current sensational test opener Mayank Agarwal also Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne had a dream year. His life changed this year, he came in as a concussion substitute of Steve Smith and in 2019 is the highest run-getter in Test cricket.

Marnus Labuschagne
Even for team Australia this year was balanced they didn’t create any milestones but in this year’s IPL auction the amount placed on Aussies is quite big, especially for Pat Cummins and Glenn Maxwell. So you guys got to know-how uneven cricketing year this was.
I hope you guys like this article.
One of the best thing which you can ever have is cricket a humorous sport which will never end. Started in England but is dominating in India. Hockey is said to be the national game of India but people worship cricket. Sachin Tendulkar is known because of cricket, we can also call him the god of the cricket. Actually it was Sachin Tendulkar who made the cricket more popular but who can forget Kapil Dev who won us the first world cup in 1983 on the British soil. In India cricket is loved more than anything else. People enjoy, celebrate, cry for this game, emotional attachment makes cricket more and more loved. In India 3 out of 2 youngsters want to be cricketer, infact they stop focusing on studies and just practice cricket if they don’t get chance by the age of 19 even then they don’t loose hopes.

Also in cricket anyone can be a star on any day it’s just he should be a part of management, perfect example will be Nathan Lyon of Australia he used to make pitches and now is a Frontline spinner of Australia. Modern day cricketers are very aggressive and their technique is also different. Earlier the players used to play with proper techniques but now the players have become unorthodox perfect example is Steven Smith the way he bat’s is totally different and in Indian cricket it’s none other than Rishabh Pant.

Australia’s Nathan Lyon
Still their are many players who play with proper skill and technique like Virat Kohli, Shai Hope, Kane Williamson, Faf Du Plesis and the list goes on and on. These players are compared with legendary players like Sunil Gavaskar, Ricky Ponting, Andy Flower, Brian Lara etc. In modern day T-20 cricket is given more importance than one day cricket and Test cricket. Modern day cricketers like Rishabh Pant, Jason Roy, Aaron Finch have a mindset of only playing a 20-20 format rather than playing Test cricket or one day cricket that’s why they get chocked in mainstream cricket.

Rishabh Pant
Modern day cricket has more demand because it’s totally entertaining and crowd enjoys entertainment cricket is becoming a product and because of leagues like IPL, Big Bash league players are auctioned and sold in the team. As we all know world’s costliest cricket league IPL can be called as a perfect entertainment because it has highs and lows aggression between players who can forget the Pollard and Starc controversy but let me tell you this is nothing the biggest issue of IPL is match fixing many cricketers have ruined their careers even teams were banned for sometime.

Because of IPL cricket fandom is increasing a lot.
According to me modern day cricket is creating more and more controversies. It doesn’t means that teams are not playing cricket but somewhere cricket has lost it’s credibility in the modern world.
New BCCI president ‘Saurav Ganguly’ also a ex cricketer wanted to promote test cricket in India so he came with a concept of day- night test match and match was played with pink ball in Kolkata after Sachin’s retirement this was the first time when more than 20,000 crowd was present in the test match.
Also to promote test cricket in modern day The International Cricket Council (ICC) organized a test championship for every match teams get 40 points. This is the best move to promote test cricket in the world.
So the conclusion is the beginning period of cricket was more Superior than modern day cricket, will talk more about cricket in the next article hope you guys like it.

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
